1. One of the main reasons why Ko Yoko and her mother needed to leave to Japan was because at the refugees camp they were at most women where getting raped and sexually hoarest. They probably also needed to leave because of the trouble in the war and also because they were getting chased because the dad was involved with the war and some other stuff.

he collaped because he was tired. He hadn't eaten, slept. What would you have done??!!!
1 i agree with your #1 because i also think that they are afraid of the people that are raping women.
2 i think that he saw the light because he was so tired of the cold and he wanted to get out of the cold so bad so he started seeing things.

but i think the light was a farm house or maybe the train station in seol, (maybe he made it all the way)
